Forgotten

Long gone my time of glee Waiting for the storm to clear Breaks me only to flee Caution turned to fear;
The evil enchantress deprived of sympathy Curses me to eternal doom Her nature ignorant and her hex apathy In her gardens no follower shall bloom;
Uncovers my deepest, darkest wound Thrives in my despair Only to have my grave festooned As if my ruin isn’t her prayer;
She took my fiery soul apart And she made it black like coal She took away my colors to make her art There is a void in me because I let her take control;
An undeserving victim of her lunacy Oh, woe is me! Despite failed contumacy I gladly waited but no one came to set me free;
Her callous whispers Remind how the world has gone rotten The tormented listeners Remind to be grateful for being forgotten.
